"Apocalypse Now" original full sheet movie poster.
Note: This original Australian daybill poster comes from a single-owner collection assembled by a cinema projectionist working across regional New South Wales, Australia.
The posters were acquired directly from drive-in cinemas and traditional theatres at the end of their screening runs, having been originally used for in-cinema display during the film’s release period.
As standard practice at the time, Australian daybill posters were distributed to cinemas folded. These original fold lines remain present and are consistent with authentic theatrical use. Following collection, the posters have been carefully stored out of direct light for long-term preservation. While they have predominantly remained folded as issued, some have been stored flat at various times to assist with condition stability.
For cataloguing and listing purposes, each poster has been photographed and is now stored flat, out of light, to maintain its condition moving forward.
This provenance reflects genuine cinema-used material, sourced directly from the exhibition environment rather than secondary market circulation.
