🌧️☕💛 PORT SORELL... YOU SHOWED UP ANYWAY 💛☕🌧️

Well... Mother Nature certainly had opinions this month. 😅

The rain arrived.
Then stayed.
Then invited more rain.

But despite the weather doing its absolute best to keep everyone at home, something pretty special happened at the Banksia Makers Market. 💛

There may have been umbrellas at the door, soggy shoes on the floor, and plenty of people making a very determined dash from the carpark...

But inside?

There was hot coffee.
Warm food.
Friendly faces.
Amazing local makers.
And a whole lot of community spirit. ✨

To our incredible stallholders — thank you.

Thank you for loading up your vehicles in the rain, and bringing your creativity, passion, smiles, and beautiful handmade products despite the less-than-ideal forecast. You are the heart of this market, and we appreciate every one of you. ❤️

A very special thank you also goes to Dean from Critter Creations.

Dean rolled in at 6:30am to help with setup before the market even opened and then, after a long day on his feet, stayed behind to help pack everything away at the end. 💛

Markets rely on people who quietly step up when help is needed, and Dean does exactly that time and time again. We are incredibly grateful for his generosity, hard work, and willingness to lend a hand whenever it's needed. Absolute legend. 👏✨

And to our wonderful community...

Thank you for braving the weather.

Thank you for pulling on the raincoat, grabbing the umbrella, and choosing to support local anyway.

Every coffee purchased.
Every handmade treasure taken home.

We've all said it.
You arrive at the market with a plan.

Every single market, it happens.
Someone walks up to the Hous3D Prints stall and says:
"I'm just having a quick look."
Five minutes later they're holding a dragon, a fidget toy, two tiny creatures of questionable species, and explaining why each one has a completely different personality.

We've seen it.
It happens every time.
