🆘 Today is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty: a timely reminder that there is more work to be done to achieve our mission to end period poverty in Australia.

Whether due to fleeing domestic violence, experiencing homelessness or facing poverty, people in Australia shouldn't be forced to use toilet paper, socks or newspaper to manage their period. And yet, our 2024 Bloody Big Survey found that a massive 64% of people who menstruate in Australia have experienced period poverty.

Since Share the Dignity started we have collected over 5 million period products thanks to our generous supporters and volunteers, and we continue to advocate for long-term change in Australia🩸
