Well ... it has only taken me nearly 2 years to make up this cushion ... (can't rush these things!).

I embroidered the front ages ago and have kept looking at the beautiful colours and decided today was the day to finish it!

So I did! And very happy with it!

As mentioned a few days ago, I have now completed some fleece baby blankets that I have embroidered with that very cute...

As mentioned a few days ago, I have now completed some fleece baby blankets that I have embroidered with that very cute teddy!

They can be personalised with baby's name and date of birth. Embroidery thread colours can also be changed if desired.

They are soft polyester fleece blankets that are a generous 1.0m x 1.3m and can be machine washed.

Whilst these designs are stitched on garments they can be stitched on tea towels, tote bags or aprons if desired! Keep an eye out for the teddy designs to be released on some baby items soon ... 🧸

It has been somewhat quiet on the SewyouandmeCreations front of late ... which is not to say that my embroidery machine has been sitting idle!

I am revamping my Etsy Store and will adding a number of new items very soon ... so watch this space for announcement!

In the meantime, whilst not all are appearing in my Etsy Store, here are some personal items I have been creating ... as you can see I have been a little bee 🐝 and Sunflower 🌻 obsessed!

I have not posted anything for a while....

I have discovered men's waffle knit undershirts make great tops to wear under quilted or puffy vests (and they are inexpensive).

So today I finished this embroidery ... the bee was 16,857 stitches and 12 colours ... I lost count of the number of colour changes ... it was well over 20 ... the others flowers were a mere 3,036 stitches and only 3 colours.... around 2 hours of work, but I am so happy with it.

I can do camis, singlet tops and t-shirts along with aprons, tea towels and tote bags with all sorts of embroidery... there are some examples in my Etsy shop.
