Food Process Worker- Meat (Earn while you Learn)

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have one or more of the above skills and previous experience
• Have a great attitude towards work, reliability and able to follow instructions
• Be able to work day shifts from 4:30am
• Have your current Q Fever or willing to undergo your Q Fever vaccination
• Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Enjoy doing repetitive work and able to perform some heavy lifting tasks
• Be Minimum double Covid Vaccinated
• Be able to work in a cold environment
• Pass a drug and functional capacity assessment
• Have a driver's license & own transport
We are looking for people with various skills that include:
Slaughter persons- Ability to process animals for both Export and domestic markets
Band Saw Operators - operate band saws to product specifications
Knife Hands - involves cutting meat to specification for processing & packaging
Slicers- involves working on the assembly line with repetitive actions including lifting, pushing, and pulling of meat along the line
Boning and trimming - fast paced knife skills to prepare the meat for processing
Packers - weighing, labelling, and preparing product to pack into boxes
General Labourers - This work is a physical and therefore you need to be able to repetitively lift heavy boxes. Be comfortable with handling raw meat product. Have the flexibility to be able to work between both warm and cool environments. Have a keen eye for detail.
