‘Why didn’t you install the NAP 350s before!’

Our recent Naim Audio install and upgrade for a client of 8 years has him re-enjoying music with details previously unheard. For this upgrade, swapping the New Classic NAP 250 for the mono NAP 350s to complete a full 300 Series with Quad ESL speakers. As these two NAP 350s continue to be run in and enjoyed, the music will only sound even better.

Each upgrade from introducing the NSS 333 streamer and NAC 332 pre-amp, later adding the two NPX 300s power supplies, and even moving the equipment from a media cabinet to Fraims / Fraim Lites had us receiving countless sounds of praise of the improved clarity, detail, and most importantly, enjoyment from the system.

This has been an enjoyable installation (multiple ones) for us too. Once the remaining bits and pieces have been finalised, we’ll look to break this entire journey in a blog post with more detail.

Charging up for a Quad ESL audition. As the electrostatic speakers are the focus for this listening session, we paired up Quad mono blocks with Naim Audio of varying vintages and CDX 2 source.

Full* Naim Audio 300 Series in Sydney - NSS 333 streamer, NSC 332 pre-amplifier and NAP 350 mono power amplifiers. Neat Acoustics Momentum J6 to bring the music out. Now warming up and available for audition.

With how the Australian hi-fi landscape has evolved over the past 40+ years, Audio Genesis is the longest-standing Naim and Linn specialist in Australia (and no plans to change that).
