📢 Important Notice – Firearm Storage Capacity

Due to ongoing delays with Permits to Acquire (PTAs) being processed, we have now reached our current storage capacity for incoming fi****ms.

Please do not arrange for fi****ms to be sent to us until your PTA has been issued, or is about to be issued.

Any fi****ms received without prior arrangement while storage is at capacity may incur significant storage fees until they can be collected or transferred. We strongly encourage all customers to wait until their PTA has been issued before organising shipment to avoid unnecessary costs and delays.

If you’ve already purchased a firearm and are unsure when it should be shipped, please contact us before arranging the transfer.

We appreciate your understanding and patience while these PTA processing delays continue and thank you for helping us manage our limited storage capacity.

🔒 Tough Gear Hunting & Shooting Supplies – Long Weekend Shutdown! 🔒

Well folks, after spending countless hours helping everyone spend their money on new toys, it’s our turn to disappear into the bush and remember why we got into this game in the first place! 😂

📅 We will be CLOSED from close of business Friday until Tuesday morning.

The shop staff have been released back into their natural habitat where they’ll be found:
🏹 Pretending they’re “just checking a trail camera”
🦌 Looking for deer that were definitely there yesterday
☕ Consuming unhealthy amounts of coffee
🎯 Buying gear they don’t actually need
🌭 Telling their partners “this is the last thing I’m buying this year”

Any messages, emails, carrier pigeons, smoke signals, or emergency requests for “just one more box of ammo” will be answered when we’re back on deck Tuesday morning.

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable long weekend, whether you’re heading to the range, chasing game, camping, fishing, or simply hiding from your responsibilities.

Stocktake complete and the calculators have officially been put back in the drawer… for now. 😂

After counting what felt like every single round, torch, scope, packet of jerky and mystery bolt in the shop, we’re happy to say Tough Gear Hunting & Shooting Supplies is BACK OPEN! 🔥

Massive thanks to everyone for the patience while we got the shelves sorted and the numbers behaving themselves. Now it’s back to the important stuff — talking hunting, gear, thermals and spending money you promised the missus you wouldn’t spend. 👀

📦🔢 STOCKTAKE TIME 🔢📦

That magical time of year where we disappear into the shop armed with scanners, coffee, calculators and absolutely zero patience trying to figure out how we somehow have:
• 47 left-handed ear muffs
• 3 random scope covers with no owner
• Enough packets of projectiles to survive winter
…and somehow STILL can’t find that one item someone asks for 😅

If you see smoke coming from Tough Gear this week, don’t panic — it’s just us trying to count every scope ring, bipod, torch, thermal, target and mystery part hiding on the shelves.

We’ll be closed from Thursday 21st May and reopening Saturday 23rd May.

Thanks legends for your patience while we attempt advanced mathematics and argue over who has to count the ammunition cupboard 🤝😂

Lest we forget.

Next weekend, we pause to remember the men and women who served, fought, and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy. ANZAC Day is not just a date on the calendar — it’s a moment to reflect, show respect, and honour their legacy.

Out of respect, Tough Gear Hunting & Shooting Supplies and Align Right will be closed from 24th April, returning 28th April.

We’ll be back on deck then.

The day will focus on preparing you, your rifle and your hunting kit for the season. We want you in your full hunting rig, chest-rig, day-pack, bino-harness etc. Shooting will be done from positions you’ll find yourself in out in the field, tripods, packs, sides of hills etc.
