🎄 Christmas Tree Farm – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What sizes of Christmas trees do you offer? 🎄
We grow a wide range of tree sizes to suit different homes and spaces.

We offer small trees between 3 and 5 feet, medium trees around 6 to 7 feet, large trees between 8 and 10 feet, and extra large trees above 10 feet.
Availability changes throughout the season.

2. Do we need to pre order a tree?🎄
Pre ordering is not required. Pre orders for this year have already closed. Pre ordering secures you a tree and locks in the pre order price for the size you selected.

3. Can we cut our own tree?🎄
Yes. We offer a choose and cut experience that many families enjoy. We have saws available on site for you to use.
We also offer pre cut trees for quick collection.

4. How do I care for my real Christmas tree?🎄
To keep your tree fresh, make a fresh cut of one to two centimetres from the base of the trunk before placing it in water. Use a water holding stand and fill it immediately, as trees can absorb a large amount of water in the first day.
Check the water level daily and never allow it to run dry.

Keep your tree away from direct heat sources such as heaters, fireplaces, and strong sunlight. Use LED lights because they stay cool and help reduce drying.

5. What types of tree stands do you recommend?🎄
We recommend heavy duty water holding stands that have a large reservoir. Metal or high quality plastic stands with strong screws provide stability.
Clamp style stands are also suitable and allow quick and secure setup.

We also have stands available to buy on site.

6. Do you provide loading assistance?🎄
Yes. We can help carry your tree and load it onto your vehicle. We recommend wrapping your tree in a tarp or blanket for safer travel and to protect your car.

7. Are pets welcome on the farm?🎄
We have a dog on the property who free roams, and our neighbours’ dogs also occasionally free roam. For everyone’s safety and comfort, we kindly ask that you do not bring pets to the farm.

8. What payment methods do you accept? 🎄
We accept cash, EFTPOS, and card payments.
We kindly ask that you bring cash because our internet connection can be unreliable and we cannot guarantee that the EFTPOS system will work.

🎄 Our Top Tips for Keeping Your Christmas Tree Fresh All Season 🎄

Once you have brought home your beautiful tree, a little care goes a long way in keeping it looking (and smelling) amazing right through to Christmas Day.

Here are our best tips to help your tree thrive:

🌲 1. Choose the right stand
A sturdy Christmas tree stand with a water compartment is essential. It keeps your tree upright and allows it to stay hydrated throughout the season.
If you don’t have a stand, don’t worry, we sell them at the farm.

🌲 2. Give it a fresh cut
Before placing your tree in the stand, trim 2 to 3 cm off the base. This opens up the pores and helps the tree drink water more efficiently.

💧 3. Water, water, water
Your tree is just like any other plant. It needs plenty of hydration. Check the stand daily. Keep the water level above the base of the trunk at all times. A freshly cut tree can drink up to 3 litres on the first day.

🔥 4. Keep it cool
Place your tree away from direct sunlight, heaters, fireplaces and air conditioning units. Warm environments dry the tree out faster and reduce its lifespan.

🪟 5. Pick the perfect spot
Avoid high-traffic areas where the tree may get bumped or brushed against constantly. This helps prevent needle drop and keeps your decorations secure.

💡 6. Use LED lights
LED lights emit less heat than traditional bulbs which helps your tree stay fresh longer and saves on your power bill.

✨ 7. Give it a little shake outside before bringing it in
This removes loose needles and ensures only the freshest ones make it indoors.
