We sell violins, violas, cellos, basses and their bows from a beginner to professional level. Established in 2005. Simply for Strings is a specialist/boutique violin shop located in Red Hill, Brisbane, Australia. We supply only the highest quality instruments & accessories at affordable prices. The company was formed in 2005 after both directors saw a need in the market for a mobile string instrument specialist. The original customers were schools and private studio teachers. From this service grew a large enough client base, both school and public, that in 2007 Simply for Strings was able to open its flagship store in Red Hill. The store, originally a Presbyterian church built in 1885 is a unique premises and has become a 'destination store' for customers and locals. Simply for Strings has invested in high quality customer service and is an industry leader in both professionalism and product knowledge. This knowledge base and commitment to customer service is the reason many customers will give their repeated business time and time again.

Almost a century later, Pirazzi’s grandson Gustav Pirazzi partnered with his friend Theodor Strobel. Together, they combined the first four letters of their surnames to create PIRA-STRO, a name that has since become synonymous with fine string craftsmanship.

Larsen, Larsen Strings has grown from an old mechanical winding machine in Laurits’ garage into one of the world’s most respected string manufacturers.
