An 8kg UC custom for Andrew. This build will be used on the reef across both soft plastics and bait application. Guide train consists of Fuji K Series Sics with a mix of singles and doubles, along with stylish Alps CAH alloy seat and matching shaped grips, binding scheme in Fuji nylon green with gold trims which comes out super stylish. Super light build in the hand with a crisp action - ready to rock.

Stunning set of 24kg stand up strokers for Corey and the crew from OTD Fishing & Adventure. These were an absolute pleasure to build as they have pretty much got the best of everything - legendary Sabre stroker blanks, Winthrop terminator unibutts, handlaid Australian cow leather grips on custom shaped game grip underlay, Alps HXN titanium guide trains and Winthrop roller tips. In my view - this combination gives you pretty much a top shelf stroker for Marlin and Southern Barrels in this line class. Build process takes time as we build them one layer at a time for strength and durability - in this case - all black with gold trims - which really is a timeless colour scheme. These will be used in the upcoming Marlin season off Brisbane - enjoy!!!

A Flats Rat 3-5kg for Mick in NSW. Built on a full carbon fibre blank, these are designed for long casts on spooky fish. Coming in at 8’6”, these blanks a perfect for delivering light to medium sized lures(up to 21gm) long distances, but also with precision. Minimalist split grip arrangement retains maximum feel, whilst being lightweight in the hand. Guide train consists of Fuji K Series Titanium Sics, rolled in all black with red and silver trims

Another Snapper Spin heading south the land of AFL and will be used to target our southern Snapper. Built on the super popular mustard Sabre blank, this one was paired with a set of Fuji titanium Sic guides and deliver Fuji seat. Finished in all black with red metallic trims. One of our 10kg Bunker Flats sticks for Dave, in spin configuration. The Bunker Flats are a little longer than standard coming in at 8’ and are ideal for casting lightly weighted baits into the shallows for reefies and are also being very successful for Moreton Bay Snapper and shallow coffee rock applications locally. This build has a set of Alps titanium’s and bound in metallic red underbind with silver trims and black overbind. This one is on its way to the Swains next week. Sleek 15kg Red Emperor for Mick from the mid north NSW coast. This one we left at 7’6” and paired it with Alps XN titanium’s and Alps alloy seat, which will eliminate rust and corrosion as a concern for the guide train. Binding is all black with metallic red and silver trims. This build will be used with a traditional reel, along with an electrode that will be hand held. These rods are proven reef weapons.

A pair of 15-24kg rail rods for great client Brooko who fishes commercially with Deano. This duo will be paired with Beastmasters and used to target Pearlie’s mainly. One has a curved uni and swivel roller and will remain in the rod holder, whilst the straight uni might get picked up from time to time. The boys enjoy longer rods, so these are shade longer than our standard, which has resulted in a softer tip action, which is great for keeping hooks in the soft mouths of Pearlies. Full Alps titanium XN guide train!!!Looking forward to seeing how these go - one thing is for for sure - won’t take long!!!
