Three Bears Drums

Three Bears Drums Makers of Traditional Native American Drums, Medicine Rattles, Smudging Fans and other N.A. crafts. Individual requests for medicine items are always welco

It has been our privilege to spend many years from time to time with people of the Blackfoot, Crow, Assinaboine, Cree and Sioux Nations who still practice ‘the old ways’. We seek to travel The Red Road. James’ was granted the name Three Bears by Kicking Woman in a traditional Blackfoot naming ceremony conducted by Buffalo Body. Our personal instruction in traditional crafts by our mentor, Buffalo

Body, of the Piegan Blackfoot Nation was the catalyst for us to pursue what we have done now for many years, sharing their traditions. For some thirty years we have pursued the wisdoms that lead to greater consciousness. As teachers, we share all that we know without reservation. For us, the highest of all Anishinaabe principles, Namagi - Respect, Honour, Dignity and Pride, is our chosen way. We strive to embrace these principles and apply them to all that we do. Drums are "the soul of their celebration". From this, our mission is to spread the living energy of Drum wherever we are called. Our love for the knowledge of the ancestors, their customs and culture has inspired us to share that with you. Our elders remind us to have an attitude of gratitude as the base line of our energy, in order to call beauty and wholeness into our lives. James & Anne Three Bears
