What makes an Evie Possum pouch special? Other than the fact that each bird is drawn by yours truly (and as if that wasn’t special enough huh?), each pouch has been printed locally (in Melbourne) on 100% organic natural fibre linen. Due to the natural fibre of this fabric, each pouch has a unique texture and feel with a rustic, loved look. The colours against the white base also POP!

Swipe through the pics to see the textures and uniqueness of each pouch. Even when the same pattern is printed, no two pouches will ever look the same.

When Evie was first born, we knew that it was 2 becoming 3. Now she’s a toddler, whenever we go out it’s 3 becoming an entourage 🙄

Oh well, at least Cinderella and Arial have their own wheels.

Is it just me or has January flown by? I can’t believe that this coming Monday will be February! What the?!? Weren’t we complaining about it being 2020 just yesterday? 🧐

The great thing about January coming to an end is that in only 17 days Valentines Day will be here. And I love love and all things cliched, totally over the top, cringeworthy and sappy. If you think it’s too much, keep going and put some sparkles on it and I’ll think it’s ace 👌

Everyone meet Barrie, Barrie meet everyone.

A lot of my new followers won’t know this, but the prints and patterns you see on Evie Possum pouches aren’t from store bought fabric - I have actually drawn each and every bird and then had my drawings and designs printed on the natural fibre linen.

I remember drawing Barrie - I actually started to draw him in the dead of the night while rocking my newborn to sleep after giving her a bottle. Like all my little birds, he is drawn in a one-line drawing style, and while he looks quite simple, trust me when I say that ‘a little simple drawing’ like him took me a few hours and quite a few iterations until I was happy with him.

After all this time when I look at him I still smile - I smile because I know all the love and work that went into him, and I smile because those looooooong nights with our daughter are thankfully largely over (and just like that I’ve jinxed myself hahaha).
