By purchasing products made by hand from these indigenous communities and artisans, we are opening a path for them to live from their products and improve their familiy's income. Koguis has turned 16th years old🥳😍

We are thrilled to have reached this milestone year.
Certainly nothing comes easy for small businesses and we have to keep trying beyond our limits.
Koguis has came a long way supporting indigenous communities and artisans from Colombia, Ecuador and Ghana through ethically traded products and fair trade certified also.
Our commitment to the environment has achieved since 2021, 665 total planted trees within native reforestation in Victoria plus we only support organic and natural fibres pieces that support the environment 🌍.
We are an endorsed Fairtraders Business Member by the Fair trade Association of Australia and NZ and have been pedalling non stop since August 2010 when we opened our retail shop in Collingwood.
We do work with many different groups of artisans and also ethical Australian brands we stock, we do feel is a celebration for all🙏

On the first semester of 2026 there has been another group of trees planted at Westgate Park, VIC | 60 trees | 2026

Beneath one of Melbourne’s most iconic landmarks, something remarkable is taking place.

Westgate Biodiversity is a not-for-profit organisation based at the foot of the Westgate Bridge (one of the city’s busiest gateways) and, most people would agree, not somewhere you’d expect to find a thriving pocket of native bushland. But that’s exactly what this passionate community group is creating.
