Final presentation: We are looking towards a Kydex belt clip/NYPD/Under cover style Necklace shroud?
W.I.P See attached Mock Up Photo.
'Kydex' has been around law enforcement since 1972, and keeps in well with functionality and aesthetics of the BR universe.
The shroud is able to be opened to remove the badge if required.
This is only a concept (but a contender) to be explored as usual.β

Created by Saucer 7 Studios, the design inspiration for this badge is honouring the Tom Southwell classic silhouette and bridges the gap between classic 1982 concept art and custom S7S universe building.
Influenced by classic 80s-2000s Japanese sci-Fi Military and Police Anime's. This design was streamlined for a cleaner, more noire look.
The badge incorporates Japanese Kanji to represent "Police Squad 5" (or "Police Unit 5"), utilizing a personal favourite number to designate a specialised, elite division in LAPD.
All metal Badge and 1st of it's kind- S7S
