Citrus Gall Wasp? Not in My Tree! 🐝
✂️ Late Aug–Mid Sept: Cut off any bumpy branches before the wasps wake up.
🗑️ Don’t compost! Bag them and throw them away.
💛 Oct–Nov: Hang yellow sticky traps to catch the adults before they lay eggs.
🌿 Spring–Summer: Feed your tree every 6–8 weeks with citrus fertiliser. Skip too much nitrogen — soft new shoots = wasp playground!
Healthy tree + smart timing = happy citrus, no unwelcome guests!

How to keep your Bougainvillea smiling in Melbourne! ☀️
🪴 Soil: They like light, sandy, well-draining soil — no soggy roots, please! 😅
🌿 Fertiliser: Give them a balanced fertiliser or bloom booster — like a “flower smoothie” every 4–6 weeks from spring to early autumn.
🚫 Winter tip: Bougainvilleas hate frost — they act like total divas in the cold! ❄️💃 Keep them in a warm, sunny spot or cover them on chilly nights.
