This morning Jono had the privilege of visiting one the amazing community gardens in the City of Melton. The Good Thymes Garden Group meets at Djerriwarrah Community Garden every Thursday morning at 10am, on Station Rd just next to Melton Police Station.

And what an amazing garden they have here! Such an abundance of produce, some very successful crop trials in pots and grow bags, flowers, succulents, fruit trees and more!! They even have tomatoes being harvested in their greenhouse in NOVEMBER!

At the end of October the Aintree Community Garden partnered with Melton Council and hosted a Seniors Garden Party for the Victorian Seniors Festival. It was a beautiful morning of good food, great music, and conversation in the garden.
