Good morning friends

Hope you have had a great week

We are in the studio shop already this morning and will be here until 1

I am busy busy prepping everything to take to Craft Alive in Mackay. 20 - 22 August. Wow that’s only a little over a week away. That has come around really quickly. So with that in mind we will be closed Saturday 22 August but reopen again on Saturday 29 August

Now the happy news. A couple of deliveries this week. A top up of Olympus Sashiko threads, some more samplers and and a Christmas star kit. Also a new range of fabric from Jason Yenter and In the beginning Fabrics. This one is called Sanctuary. Beautiful blues. Wahoo

Anyways, enough from me. Hope you get plenty of time for sewing, quilting or crafting this weekend. Hope to see you soon

Good morning friends

Hope you are all well and have had a great week

We are already in the studio shop this morning

We are busy busy getting ready for Craft Alive in Mackay, 20 - 22 August. In the Big Shed at the Mackay Showgrounds

We will be taking up as much as we can fit in the car. All our glorious fabrics and threads.

We also have some new fabrics arriving very soon.

So if you are in the Mackay region over that week in August and want us to bring anything particular with us give us a shout.

With that in mind we are going to be closed on Saturday 22 August unfortunately but are so looking forward to seeing everyone up North.

Good morning friends.

Wow what a busy couple of weeks

We have had a couple of exciting deliveries this week. A new range of fabric from Laundry Basket Quilts. It’s called Jingle Bell. It has a subtle little Christmas feel about it.

We also have new Christmas Sashiko. A Christmas Tree panel and a Christmas Stocking. Absolutely gorgeous with a gold/silver highlight. I am so looking forward to start stitching one.

We also have a restock and some new colours in the WonderFil threads. Ran out of room and time so will pop photos up next week.

Now, I sincerely apologise if you have tried to contact me and I have missed your call. Please message me if I have. We had a fabulous day up at Bucasia Quilers Fair last Saturday and I was so busy, I think I missed a couple of calls so am so sorry

Also, Craft Alive is back in Mackay in August so we will be away that week. It is on from Thursday to Saturday 20 - 22 August. Hope to see you there.

Good morning friends.

Well we are at the wonderful Bucasia Beach Quilters Fair.

A brilliant display of quilts and hand made items. A few pop up shops and a great group of ladies. If you are in Mackay area make sure you visit today. Open until 4.

For our locals, apologies we aren’t open in the shop today. However we will be back and open again next Saturday. And we have had another new fabric range arrive. Will show you next week.

We had another delivery from In The Beginning fabrics. The gorgeous Dear Clara by Jason Yenter. The photos just don’t do the colour justice

I also had a couple of queries regarding different colourways of the Garden Twist pattern I put up last week. Have popped a photo below. The beautiful Sanctuary fabrics are on order and should be here soon.

Now we will be away next week as we are attending Bucasia Beach Quilters Fair next Saturday. If you up that way come and say hello. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Machine cleaning and servicing. Just a reminder that we do sewing machine cleaning and services. Currently we have about a two week turnaround. If you can’t drop it in on a Saturday then let us know and we can make other arrangements late most afternoons.

Good morning friends

We had the most gorgeous delivery this week

“Winter Enchantment” by Jason Yenter. Yes I am a fan. Will be doing up a couple of the Garden Twist pattern into kits. Holler loudly if you want one.

We also are now going to keep a linen/cotton blend fabric. This is the same basecloth that is in the Devonstone Sashiko panels we have. Will be perfect for those that want to design their own Sashiko. And there is lots of colours to choose from.

A little housekeeping, we will be away Saturday 18 July as we have been invited to the Bucasia Beach Quilters Fair. We will be taking our pop up shop. If anyone wants anything in particular let me know so I can bring it with me.

Good morning friends

Another busy week just gone. Wow this year seems to be flying. Half way gone already. I thought it was still February yesterday. 🤣 hahaha

Anyways. We are in the studio shop already this morning. Come on in and take a look at the new books and Sashiko panels that have just arrived.

Sashiko panels are a bit bigger and the colours of the fabrics is superb.

We will be away the weekend of 18 July. We have been invited to take our pop up shop to Bucasia Beach Quilters Fair on 18 July. If you are going to be up that way and would like more info let me know. Can’t wait to meet and see everyone up there.

Just want to show you a couple of things this morning

The superb Mary Mary quilt kit by Helen Stubbings, Hugs’n Kisses, and Devonstone from 2Green Zebras. The kit has all the fabrics backing threads and more. You can do the blocks by the month with Helen and her fabulous tutorials. And there is a wonderful Facebook group to join as well. Let me know if you are interested as I only have a couple left.

I have also been following Emma Jean Jansen on a block of the month journey. It’s called Southern Skies. I got my month one done using Tilda Songbird. Can I say I love this range. Check out her Facebook if you haven’t already. We carry her patterns and templates.

Good morning friends.

Wow. What a busy couple of weeks we have had.

And look what arrived a couple of days ago. The beautiful Felicity by Jason Yenter. The colours are just glowing. Photos are not doing these justice. You will have to come in and see them.

We are in the studio shop already this morning shop,ease feel free to come on in. We would love to see you and say giddy

Oh and the clearance table continues and I might have added a few more bolts to it. Oops.
