If you wandered past my house today you would have heard me “running my lines” for my painting workshop at the end of this month, I don’t know why I continue to do this because I always go rogue as soon as the workshop starts!
This is a mini practice painting, the workshop canvas will be much bigger but the items used will be the same. I must confess that I didn’t have bottle tops small enough for this tinky canvas so I used cotton buds instead.

13 minutes of me at my finest! Enjoy my haul from Cozy Lark.
That coffee saved my life, I had spent the morning (well the bit I was out of bed for) taking selfies for the team out a Moorelands and I was very glad to be back inside!!

Sunday 30th August, 8am to 2pm at Moorelands, 1344 Dargal Road. Gold coin entry gets you a full day of plants, food and fun for the whole family.

This year we're thrilled to welcome guest speaker Paul Plant, plus demonstrations from Ebony at Telco Worm Farming Homestead and Tania Hubbard from Made at Home.

Get creative in the afternoon workshops with Kelly from Roma Saddlery (leather phone pouch making) and Brenda from Iris & Maie (bottle top bouquet painting), while the kids enjoy a watercolour session with A Thousand Yellow Daisies.

Browse the market stalls, grab breakfast, lunch or a barista coffee at the Feed Shed, and stick around for the lucky door prize draw in the afternoon.

A Saturday well spent making a mess with charcoal, learning new techniques, watching people get extremely uncomfortable about not being in control, embracing chaos, laughing uncontrollably, meeting new art friends and rediscovering my love of charcoal. Thank you Loretta Waldron it was a wonderful day.
