Pick up a Where's Wally? activity card when you visit us on Saturday 10 October and start searching the store.

Once you've found Wally:

1. Complete your activity card.
2. Bring it to one of our staff.
3. Get your very own "I Found Wally!" badge!

Love Your Bookshop Day is this Saturday, 10 October, and there's a pretty great reason to pick up a book.

To enter, visit an ABA member bookshop on Saturday 10 October and purchase a book by an Australian author or illustrator.

Choose a book by a First Nations creator and you'll receive a double entry.

We'll have a selection of Australian books, including books by First Nations creators, on display in store to make them easy to find.

Entries close at 10am AEST Monday 12 October.

Toni will be reading Bees Are Our Friends, Worms Are Our Friends and her upcoming book, The Christmas Fairy Twirl, with some fun activities for the kids too.

We’re very excited to share some wonderful news: Rosebud Book Barn is a recipient of the ABA Bookseller Events Grant!

We’re one of just 26 independent bookshops across Australia to receive funding to help bring our events program to life, and we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity.

For the past 23 years, Rosebud Book Barn has been part of the Mornington Peninsula community, and this funding gives us the opportunity to create a dedicated space where our community can come together to celebrate books, authors and reading.

This funding will help us establish a new events program at the store, with free events including In Conversation author events, storytime sessions, book launches, workshops and other book-related activities for readers of all ages.

We’re excited to create more opportunities for our local community to connect with authors, discover new books and share our love of reading.

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes as we get the new space ready, and we’ll be sharing more about the program and upcoming events very soon.

We can’t wait to bring this to life!
