Perhaps I’ve gone too literal with the song choice, but how can I not 😆 I do feel like I’m saying goodbye to a friend!
Our website has been one of the best things to happen to Joyful Blooms. It created an easy shopping experience for our customers and helped me to keep on top of all of the orders coming through! It also gave me the opportunity to create a ‘build your own gift box’ section on the website… which was such a fun concept!
Gone were the days of selling through insta with multiple people writing ‘SOLD’ on a post, and then me having to navigate through all of the DMs, letting people know that they had unfortunately missed out.
Like everything in our inflated world at the moment, the cost of running a business has also increased… but sales haven’t necessarily increased to support this. I am also busy being a first time mum so haven’t had the time to really drive this little business. I’ve identified that the cost of running our website isn’t worth it, so returning to our roots of selling through Instagram is where I have landed.
