Part 1 of a recent estate haul. I've just spent the last 3 hours blowing off dust with the compressor and making repairs where required. The furniture will get a more thorough clean before settling on price. Some pieces will go in my online store, others will go in my store space Vintage Upcycle in Market Fair.

A little lift, a lot of charm. Upright form paired with a playful and colourful geometric pattern.

I sourced this to sell a few years ago. When mum had a fall and was bed bound most of the days, we needed visitors chairs in her room. This ended up in her room and quickly became a visitor favourite because of its comfort and ease of getting in and out of. The relatively small footprint was a plus. Now mum is in aged care, I've reclaimed it and is available to purchase.

For the next few weeks I'll be focusing on planning for the arrival of a container of outdoor furniture for my other business. If the last few days are anything to go by, I'm going to be very busy. Very thankful for that because it's been the quietest off season for many years. The upshot is I'll have less time for vintage. I'll still be listing but at an infrequent rate. I have enough stock to fill in the time when I get it, so I'll be able to scratch the vintage itch now and then.

In the meantime, here's a little something I'm selling that belongs to mum. She's now in aged care and her house is being emptied for tenants. We've given some things away and taken others for ourselves, but I've offered to list others. This is one of them, a late 80s telephone table by Eastgate Prestige Furniture, formerly H. Eastgate. I had the seat re-covered in gold velour not long ago and it's really lifted it.

$195, all proceeds going to mum's ongoing care.
