Life isn’t pulling punches this year. Even while still learning to readjust to life without Dad, Mum passed this week. 😔

No markets for us this weekend. Please be patient as we navigate this devastating loss. I have no idea where I’ll be or what I’m doing over the next few weeks. Just focusing on family and day to day right now.

Apologies for any inconveniences, but family first (I’m sure you all understand). 👍🏻

Back in action at Handmade in the Hunter Markets this Saturday (20th) from 9-2pm.

We’ve got stock of our usual 10 flavours (including Last Rites) , plus our Limited Batch ‘JERK cOFFee’ makes number 11. So put on a beanie and come out and try some of Australia’s best jerky.

Pssst.. we have a couple of ‘Lazy Cow Specials’ available for those that get in early (fatty jerky bags). 😜

Thanks to all the legends that came out to Handmade in the Hunter Markets over the weekend to grab some jerky. You’re very much appreciated by both our little family business and I’m sure any of the other stallholders you purchased from while you were there. 🥰

Saturday was a big day, but Sunday ended up even bigger!

Was great weather, plenty of smiling faces, plus you basically cleaned me out of everything I bought both days. 😝

Hey Lifers!🍻
As you’re probably aware we haven’t published an episode for a while. Although we tried to get around doing remote episodes, the timing just wasn’t there. With Sam and Ryley and the kids and Jacko moving to Melbourne, it just wasn’t feasible to do it anymore. We felt if we continued we would be “putting it on” and it would feel forced compared to when we first started and just sat around and had beers and laughed for hours on end. So unfortunately we won’t be posting anymore actual podcast episodes.
We can’t thank you all enough for all the support we’ve received. We love each and every single one of you whether you’ve listened for 1 minute or 100 hours of the show, we can’t be more grateful for what we’ve created and we are walking away super proud and who knows what the future holds.
One last thing.. a big shout out to Geoff and his wife Luci from Bloody Good Jerky. They have been there since day 1 and they are the best people we have ever come across, they have shown so much love and support for the show, so make sure too keep buying their Jerky!

Bringing a bit of everything to today’s (Sat 30th) Handmade in the Hunter Markets😁

Still some ‘Hot Stuff,’ ‘Sweet Stuff’ bags left from last market and this weekend’s Limited Batch is ‘JERK-cOFFee.’ 🐮☕️

Rather than gambling on if market was going ahead due to weather this weekend. Made the call and decided to take a jackhammer to the bathroom floor instead. FAFO time to see what I’m dealing with. 🤷🏻‍♂️
