A recent customer just sent me a couple of photos of a nice 32cm Redfin taken on the Manji Marauder.
Needless to say, I think he's pretty happy with the results.

I received a message from my customer on his Alaska trip today.
After 3 days of catching fat Trout on Egg flies the guide insisted he use, he said he wanted to use a fly he brought with him and tied on an Articulated Galaxia.
The result was this beautiful 12lb Sockeye Salmon. Apparently they don't feed while migrating/ spawning run, but this one found the fly irresistible.
One very happy customer and one very happy Fly Tyer.

Well, I've found them 2 days running but they are in a stretch of the stream with extremely limited casting room and lots of blackberry bushes to get snagged on.
This one is close to 50cm and there are at least another 2 in this pool.

I recently tied a bunch of Manji Marauders for a returning customer, including some huge #8 models specifically for targeting Redfin Perch and this is the result. This was one of several caught that day.
He will be taking the rest of his Manji's to Alaska soon to try his luck catching Salmon and Grayling.

First attempt at tying Blane Chocklett's Jerk Changer fly.
Needs a little refinement, but overall I'm pretty happy with the end result.

It's been a while between posts, but I just spent a couple of days fishing in Pemberton.
Finally managed to get onto some fish. Fantastic session on the Reddies, keeping 10 for a family feed and throwing back just as many. Biggest went 35cm.

It's been a little while since I last posted anything, but I've just completed this order for 30 flies for a new customer.
After reading quite a few posts on Facebook about the Manji Marauder, he decided that he needed to give them a try for himself.
Apart from the Manji Marauder, the order also includes a couple of Western Minnow's, Woolly Bu**ers in 5 different colours and Beadhead Woolly Bu**ers in 4 colours.

First attempt at tying a Cicada...
Google says it looks more like a Stonefly... LOL
I'm not sure what it is, but I reckon it will catch Trout
