💛 DAFFODIL DAY IS COMING TO SAFETY BAY PHARMACY! 💛

On Thursday 20 August, we’ll be supporting Cancer Council WA’s Daffodil Day and raising funds to help support life-changing cancer research and people affected by cancer.

Over the next week, we’ll be running a raffle in store, with all funds raised going towards this important cause. 🎗️

Daffodil Day is a wonderful reminder that cancer touches so many lives in our community. Cancer Council WA says the daffodil represents hope for a cancer-free future. 💛

This year’s message is:

🌼 For all that cancer takes, give all you can this Daffodil Day.

We’d love our Safety Bay community to get behind us. Pop in, buy a raffle ticket and help us grow a little more hope. 💛

🎉 Congratulations to our National Diabetes Week Jelly Bean Guessing Competition winner, Oliver!
A big thank you to everyone who visited us during National Diabetes Week, had a free blood sugar check and joined in the fun by guessing the number of jelly beans in our jar.

Remember, it's never too late to take charge of your health. If you'd like support managing diabetes or understanding your medications, our diabetes educator Rachel is here to help all year round.

Free FluMist nasal spray flu vaccines are now available for eligible children and teenagers aged 2 to 17 years in Western Australia.
If your child gets worried about needles, FluMist offers a quick, needle-free way to help protect them against the flu.
At Safety Bay Pharmacy, we're pleased to offer FluMist with our friendly vaccination team.
Appointments are essential as stock is limited.

We've expanded free FluMist vaccines, so even more West Aussie kids can get immunised against the flu without a needle.

FluMist is now available free for children and teenagers aged 2 to 17, giving more families access to this quick and gentle nasal spray.

It's a great option for kids who feel anxious about needles, making it easier and more comfortable to get protected against the flu.

By making immunisation more accessible, we're helping protect more kids, slow the spread of the flu, and ease pressure on our health system.

Did you know from the 1st of July, more Australians will be eligible for a FREE pneumococcal vaccine under the National Immunisation Program?

✅ The recommended age has been lowered from 70 years to 65 years.
✅ A new vaccine, Capvaxive® (21-valent), will replace previous adult pneumococcal vaccines and provides protection against more strains of pneumococcal disease.
✅ If you've had a pneumococcal vaccine before, you may still be eligible for the new vaccine if it's been at least 12 months since your last dose.

We have Capvaxive® in stock and are now taking bookings for vaccinations from this Wednesday!
