Bay of Fires Apiaries

Bay of Fires Apiaries is a fledgling business aiming to provide quality products and services to the North East Region and beyond. The apiary is based on 100 acres of pristine Heathland and Ironbark/Peppermint forests within the Bay of Fires Area. Our apiaries also include Mt Elephant and the Ben Lomond forests, within the Break O’Day Municipality. The recent addition of an apiary site near the Ar

thur River, within the West Coast wilderness area, provides access to Leatherwood. Leatherwood is essential for the bees as it provides quality nutrients and food over winter, therefore ensuring optimum health. Every care is taken to eliminate anything that may compromise the health of the bees and the purity of the honey. By being mindful of the materials used in the hives, the purity of water available for the bees, and maintaining a high standard in the extraction process, you receive a quality product, while the bees stay healthy and happy. A wide range of bee keeping equipment from various suppliers is selected and trialed before being offered for sale. This ensures the provision, to our customers, of functional, long lasting equipment which has been field tested. In the future expansion plans include crop pollination and a breeding apiary for the of supply queen bees.
