World Time Attack 2026 - wrap up

Firstly, thanks to the organisers and volunteers that make the event as successful as it is. World Time Attack Challenge is an incredible world class event that really needs to be experienced to appreciate the sheer scale and variety.

Our Evo was the pinnacle of flawless, reliable performance. Racing for 3 days, bringing multiple PBs and driving back to the hotel after the event with nothing more than an exhaust fix needed. We were improving with each session however multiple red flagged sessions hindered our efforts but that's racing.

We're proud of what we brought to the table and how we conducted ourselves. I couldn't ask for more from the Evo or my team.
We met up with old friends and made some new ones and were blown away at the level of support received from friends, family and clients online and in-person.

We're keen to spend the coming months making improvements in both the Evo and driver 🙋🏻‍♂️and are keen AF for WTAC '27.

🏁 World Time Attack 2026 🏁

We're prepped, ready and loaded for the journey to represent our capabilities and SA for WTAC at Sydney Motorsport Park for racing this Thur, Fri and Sat.

Last year was full of first time nerves, this time, we just want to race. This year we're bringing more tyres, braking, power and torque, confidence and seat time. We're proud of what we're bringing to the table and hope the car gods are kind to all competitors and WTAC staff.

If you're attending, stop by pit 36 and say hi, our whole team will be there 🤝🏻

New year, new us but on our same game.
We're now closed for lunch. Like closed closed.

From 1pm-2pm Tue-Fri we are closed and unavailable. Doors are down and locked and no phones will be answered. Google reflects this. Pickups and drop offs will be pre-advised and coordinated and any surprise drops can be left with our mates next door - Sleekas Spares.

This is to allow our small team that's operating at capacity or past most days to actually stop, have some chill time together to breathe and decompress without the need to cover each other or talk to pop ins.
I'm sure that most of our amazing clients will understand and empathise and for those that don't, we don't care. We're doing it. Everyone needs and deserves a break.

🏁 World Time Attack 2026 🏁

We're prepped and ready to send our 90s silver brick at Sydney Motorsport Park against some bullets of cars in Tuner class again come September 4/5/6.

Man handling 400+kw atw and 8,000rpm on street tyres whilst rowing gears like a real car is always a good time 🥳

Our perfectly compromised Evo has proven to be a reliable performer and highly capable (shaving 7 seconds off our best International time a couple weeks ago after some instruction from Dean Canto) whilst being incredibly fun and rewarding to drive on both the track and occasional street.

Our whole team is heading over and we can't wait to help represent SA 🫶

I present to you - the master of cracking ringlands and spinning bearings, the humble EJ25 💀

1x final engine assembly stage.
1x being removed for build.
1x final fit and prep for first start after build.

This is normal day to day operation here with at least 4x EJ builds in constant parallel and rotation at any given time. This is on-top of our 2-3weeks stacked service, maintenance, builds, mods and tuning.

We have killer and happy clients that see these cars as their release. Something they can control in this crazy climate, their thing that brings them happiness amidst the current doom and gloom alarmism thing. And for that, this thriving and resilient small business (despite the government's best efforts to hamstring us), its passionate staff, subbies and suppliers are eternally thankful.

We'll just be here, kicking our goals, grinding and building cool s**t for cool people.

Driven thrives on long term relationships built on transparency and mutual respect.

Pull up a chair, story time. James has been with us for a decade. He used to have an immaculate Evo XMR with pretty special plates, unfortunately a crack head saw an end to that in a spectacular fashion. Through our vast network we helped him get more than the under valued insurance and then helped him into the seat of this aesthetic af GR Yaris. It was the least we could do.

A few months later, unannounced, he rocked up with brand new EVO plates. A sentimental and meaningful gift, a tearful bro hug was had. We sat on that gift for a few years until our Evo VI was finished and deserving.

These plates are worn with pride and are a constant reminder.

Good things do come full circle, just be a good human. Thankfully, the vast majority of our clientele are the same. Keep being your good selves kids ❤️
