When your bestie gets a text … saying I’ll have the same please ☺️

These beauties are catching a plane ✈️ tomorrow - heading for New Zealand - to one very excited friend of a friend ❤️

The bracelet contains a gorgeous hand made 15mm bling red glass bead and the divine sandalwood … plus the same matching earrings!

Next we have a stunning magnificent piece of turquoise, blue opal AAA+ round beads, matte black onyx and calling in the stunning sandalwood ❤️❤️ again.

I’m hoping Customs let her through with the ‘crown’ jewels 💎 🤭🤭🤭

When it’s your birthday 🎈 and staying with me - let’s get creative my bestie ❤️ in the bead room 🥰

The bracelet is the amazing aromatic sandalwood with matte black onyx, white Howlite, K2 blue granite and blue opal - so exceptional!

Then of course the earrings to complete the combo … using the hand made red 12mm beads - so simple but elegant with an extended drop …
Plus the matte black onyx and sandalwood double drop xoxoxo

When you have a bracelet that has stretched and a necklace that is an ’awkward’ length and you don’t like the clasp… what do you do?

Drop them in my letterbox! 📮.

I know that this lovely lady has a sandalwood, pearl and jade bracelet - that we created a while back - (see photo below 👇🏿) so her vision was to have the necklace - longer and to incorporate the jade and sandalwood - to make it more wearable with shirts …

I absolutely love the final design - and it only took two mockups to arrive here !

Something I have never had … a winning sash 😊

I entered these two creations for the local Sarina Show and fortunately I gained a first place for my Paua shell triple necklace , plus a best exhibit award within ‘the best other craft’ category.

I also achieved a second placing for my bracelet … can be happy 😃

So I am feeling extremely chuffed !

Also managed a second for my rocky road and a third for my photography 😊

What very lucky friends about to receive the best kind of gift - one that you have admired from afar?

Honestly - does it get any better than this - freshwater pearls , the divine aroma of sandalwood and some matte onyx .. I think not!

When you find yourself - just having a ‘tidy up’ in your happy place - aka ‘bead room’ and you rediscover some repurposed beads that you had forgotten you had?

A spark ignites and I can see a vision of what I would like a small choker type necklace to be ☺️

You can be assured it will be …. bright and a bit quirky …. and most certainly a one-of-a-kind piece 🥰

I’m loving it and I might take it for a coffee up town tomorrow 😮😮. It has been completely created with re-purposed beads - which I love giving life back to xx
