Spring is upon us and the plants in our garden and in the nursery are already putting on quite the show!

We are incredibly excited to see what the next few weeks will bring. Flowers, growth and so many pollinators. Spring is definitely our favourite time of the year 🌿

Livistona Decora or the ' Ribbon Fan Palm' is a stunning native palm known for its beautiful weeping habit and distinctive trunk that looks almost scarred from each loss of a mature leaf.

With a mature height of between 10 and 15 metres and a glorious crown reaching a width of 4 to 6 metres it is a sight to behold. Bringing a dramatic, tropical flair to your space.

The Ribbon Fan Palm grows beautifully in our tropical climate - thriving in the hot, humid and wet summers. They do well in most conditions, from seasonally boggy soil to free draining, rocky bases. Full sun to moderate shade. They are adaptable and hardy.

We have them available in our nursery, and you are welcome to come and have a look!

The Markets are back!

This Sunday the 30th of August we will be at the Sarina Showground Markets with a wonderful selection of our native plants, and a few books to help you along in your native gardening journey.

We have finally decided to start growing Corymbia Citrodora (lemon-scented gum) and Corymbia maculata (spotted gum).

They are finally poking their heads up and will be ready for sale in the coming months 😊🌱

Look at these beauties!

We have a handful of Daintree Pines in stock. Perfect as a feature tree or to use as a privacy screen, it's natural conical shape and dense growth means it will very rarely - if ever - need a prune. It grows to a manageable height of 3 to 6 metres with a width of 2 to 3 metres.

Daintree Pines are perfectly suited to our tropical climate. They love the higher humidity and warmer weather.
They can handle short periods of dry weather once established in the ground, but do prefer to be consistently moist.

We have them for sale for just $35.00 each so send us message or give us a call if you'd like to add one (or two) of these beautiful trees to your native garden.
