We’ve just finished up these two ACW15’s. Ready to make wood chips fly and two operators very happy!

But can you guess what machines will they be fitted too?

Both 38hp.
Both popular machines.
One hydro drive and one belt driven.

Do your own servicing and don’t want to chase genuine Kohler filters? Here are some quality aftermarket alternatives:

Fuel filter 2405013 ⏩️ Ryco Z14
Outer air filter 2508301 ⏩️ Donaldson P821575

Engine oil: These are small, air-cooled engines. We recommend:

* 20W-50 for warmer climates (suitable for most of Australia)
* 15W-40 for cooler climates

Always check your owner’s manual to confirm the correct service parts and oil grade for your machine.

Struggling to remove the teeth with your Arbteeth Cutter Wheel? Or any Sandvik style wheel? Make your life easier with the Milwaukee 12V FUEL 1/2INCH RIGHT-ANGLE IMPACT WRENCH. Part Number - M12FRAIWF120.

Make sure you get the big boy version listed above, the smaller ones won’t have the torque. Pair it with a 15/16 socket. Some impact sockets might not fit as the walls are too thick.

Another Bandit SG-40 out the door. This one was suffering from elongated pocket bolt holes - very common to see, will never have that problem again. Enjoy the new cutter

Something a little different heading out the shop today, an ACW15 to suit a Predator 38RX.

These machines have been getting pretty popular in Australia and now owners have the option to have the best cutter wheel in the world (I’m not bias at all 😅) for them.

The price of stump grinding is about to go up (again).

Don’t want to be all doom and gloom, but stump grinding and just about anything else that uses tungsten carbide is about to get a whole lot more expensive.

Why? The world’s chaotic. The price of the raw materials used to produce tungsten carbide products has absolutely SKYROCKETED (up over 250% now) over the past 18 months, and it’s not slowing down at all.

If you’re interested in why it’s actually skyrocketing, inbox us, Google it, ask ChatGPT ect.

What does this mean?

There’s going to be a small price hike on our products soon, and likely another shortly after until the commodity price stabilises. We’re honestly just trying to stay afloat, not cash in.

Unless someone has stockpiled, any company selling decent-quality, non-recycled tungsten products has already raised prices or will be very soon.

Will you be raising your prices or absorbing the loss?
