Shellharbour Scuba Shellharbour Scuba has been guiding and educating divers for over a decade. Come dive with us! All life changing experiences.

Our weekend morning shore dive is always relaxed and easy, we all get together at the shop around 8:30am and leave for the dive site at 9am. Ask us about our scuba and freediving courses, as well as our hosted overseas trips. And we have dedicated professional underwater photographers with a wealth of knowledge and a huge array of accessories to help customise your underwater setup.

Join us every morning for the social dive, meet at the shop 8:30am to introduce yourself and organise any equipment.

📆 If your haven’t been diving for a while the social dive is not for you, however we do have a Refresher Course running on Monday 5th in the morning, all equipment included. Call us to make a booking.

🚗 Parking is very limited during the long weekend, please try to carpool as much as possible. We can help assist you on the day.

📆 Refresher Course Monday 5th October 📆

If it’s been a while since you last got in the water then this is the perfect time to join our inactive diver refresher course.
We will guide you through gear assembly and dive briefings, hand signals and underwater communication, dive skills and emergency situations.
Once we have gotten you back in the water the right way continue you diving journey by joining us on our weekend social dives.

📆 If you haven’t been diving for a while the social dive isn’t for you. Please give us a call to book you in for a Refresher session and get you back in the water the right way.

📸 Earlier in the week Bonnie went out deep exploring on her scooter and came across so many of these salp chains drifting in the current. Bits and pieces of them are still floating around now, so keep your eyes open this weekend.

After a rough ocean over the weekend Bonnie managed to sneak into the water today.
⚠️There are still some big waves around so use caution ⚠️
However even in bigger seas the marine life that call it home still survive and thrive 😍
She managed to spot the trifecta of ponies, a weedy, a pipehorse, and pipefish.
There will be bigger swells coming through mid week but we are hopeful for social dives next weekend.

📸 Bonnie had an amazing encounter with a very pale fiddler ray today. Possibly an albino or leucistic pigmented. Truly a rare sighting.
She put together this video featuring the rare albino ray as well as a standard coloration ray for comparison. What a great find!!
