🐾 PUPPY UPDATE 🐾

Life with a puppy and a baby is going exactly as expected… absolute chaos 😂💜

Biscuit and Lily have very quickly become partners in crime. Between the two of them, there are approximately one million razor-sharp teeth, absolutely no respect for personal space, and someone is ALWAYS chewing on something they shouldn’t be 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Biscuit steals Lily’s toys.
Lily steals Biscuit’s toys.
Biscuit tries to eat everything Lily drops.
And Lily has now decided that dog biscuits are apparently a perfectly acceptable snack 🤦🏼‍♀️😆

Today they were happily playing with Biscuit’s puzzle toy together… although I’m fairly certain Lily’s main motivation was working out where the biscuits were hidden 😂

Basically I’m raising two puppies at this point 🤣💜

But look at that little face 🥹🐶 How could anyone say no to that?!?

So tonight’s work setup is looking a little different…

One arm for cuddling the tiny boss who absolutely REFUSES to sleep 👶🏼💜
One arm for working my way through orders ✂️🧵
And approximately zero arms left for anything else 😂

Sliding into Wednesday like… 😆🛝

Starting the work day with a quick play before I get stuck into your orders 🥰💜

The plan is simple:
Step 1: Wear Lily out at the playground 😂
Step 2: Cross absolutely EVERYTHING that she has a decent nap 🤞🏼🤣
Step 3: Use said nap to crochet/sew/create at approximately 400km an hour and smash through as many orders as humanly possible 😂🧶🪡

There is definitely a very calculated reason behind this morning’s playground trip 😏🤣

I’m slowly but surely working my way through my pending orders 🧶🥰

Thank you so much to everyone waiting patiently for their goodies. I promise things are happening behind the scenes… just sometimes with a tiny assistant sprawled across me while Bluey provides the workplace soundtrack 😂💙

The juggle is very real, but we’re getting there one stitch at a time 💜

🌱✂️ GRASS FRIENDS UPDATE ✂️🌱

Well… the Grass Friends were getting a little wild around the edges, so apparently it was time for their first haircut 🤣🤣

Luckily, I had a very enthusiastic little apprentice ready to step in as hairdresser 😂💇‍♀️

There was trimming…
There was concentration…
There was grass EVERYWHERE…
And there may have been one or two slightly questionable styling decisions 🤣😆

But I have to admit, they’re looking much tidier now 😂🌱

I absolutely love that something we made for a bit of fun has turned into such a cute little activity for Logan too 🥰💜

Now we wait for their next fabulous hairdo to grow in 🤣🌱✂️

I absolutely LOVE when another small business has an idea and I get to help bring their vision together 🥰💜

This lovely customer ordered a selection of my 100% cotton Face Scrubbies and asked if I could individually package them with their own care cards, ready for her to add her beautiful handmade soaps 🧼🌿

Of course I said yes! 🥰

They’re now all packaged up and ready for her to add her own special touch before they head off to their new homes 💜

One of my favourite things about handmade is being able to tweak things to suit exactly what someone needs 🥰

I mean… it genuinely IS really important to me, especially when I’m making and packing all of your beautiful orders 🥰

But perhaps this is… excessive? 😂😂😂

Silk Oil of Morocco had a sale and my beautiful friend Sharon Wiktor hooked me up… and apparently I don’t understand the phrase “reasonable quantity” 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

TWELVE. BOTTLES. 🧴🧴🧴

On the plus side, they smell SO much nicer than regular hand sanitiser, and Made with Love by Megs will now have exceptionally clean hands until approximately 2037 😝🙌🏼

This is why I cannot be trusted around a good sale 😂💜

Please tell me I’m not the only one who finds something they like on sale and suddenly needs enough to survive the apocalypse?! 🤣
