💭 Ever wondered why we sometimes sell out or why our products aren’t cheaper than supermarket brands?

Most products are made fast using bleaching and harsh chemicals to cut time and cost. We chose a slower process and a more sustainable option.This means more time, more care and absolutly no shortcuts!

This is why it costs more to make, and with rising global transport and production costs, that pressure continues. But changing the process would mean changing the product.

That’s not a trade-off we’re willing to make. 🫶

Do you have sensitive skin? Sanitary pads, cotton or plastic-based, can cause rashes due to synthetic materials, chemicals, or the accumulation of lint, especially if they are low-quality or fragranced.

Oobamboo's pads are super gentle on the skin free with no dyes, fragrances or bleach. Bamboo fibers are naturally round and smooth, creating a silky texture that minimises friction-induced micro-tears on sensitive skin.

🫶 When you have kids, you start noticing the small things. 🫶 What touches their skin. What comes into your home. What you use every single day without thinking twice.

Tissues were one of those things for us. We learned that many are bleached with chlorine. That wood fibres are short and brittle, so they break apart and leave lint behind.

For sensitive skin, that can mean irritation and micro-abrasions and that didn’t sit right. So we made something we actually wanted in our own house 💚
