What a pleasure meeting Michael and Shane from Fishing For Mental Health at our stall yesterday, we had a great chat about all things fishing and the boys even bought a few goodies from us to take back to QLD, and they left us some FFMH stickers and stick pins.

if you aren't a member of the group, look em up and join in a great community of fishos.

We are looking forward to some reports and pics of what the lads catch when they get back to the GC.

Managed a fish last night at the old local- blustery 30-40km onshore winds, 2 foot wind waves washing over the deck.

Amongst the plethora of rays of different species, I managed to float line some unweighted strip baits and get onto a few Bream. The bigger one managed to have me in all sorts of trouble over a very shallow, weedy rock ledge, with long sustained runs it had me fooled for something else. The other fish, somehow took the bait on surface and produced an eat that would rival any surface eat I've seen less than a rod length from the wharf, and stayed on surface the entire time.

Fish ranged from 24cm to 38cm.
