On Friday we had every intention of taking many photos of the dishes but it was too busy (thanks to all you lovely folk for your online orders and to those who wandered in to dine in).

The slow roast pork shoulder (pictured) was a hit - with some punters telling us they hadn’t eaten pork since the late 70s and were very pleasantly surprised at just how delicious this dish was - with its cider jus and spiced pumpkin mash.

The gf chocolate tarts were to die for, a rich dark chocolate ganache dressed with chocolate flakes and a side of vanilla ice cream.

Friday dinner is back on 14 August, but we have catering availability between now and then so reach out if you have a function or event you’d like us to cook for.

Four dishes, four distinct flavours and many possibilities for devouring them:

📍Pre-order online for dine in or takeaway from 5pm on Friday
📍Book a table to dine in on Friday upstairs at the Fremantle Workers' Club (36 Ellen Street) no BYO, bar open (cheers to that)
📍Forget to do either and walk in on the night for dine in and takeaway and hope we haven't sold out.

The lovely Lynda AKA Little Treasures Hoopla Caravan (every Sunday at the Freo Farmers Market ) popped in and it was so lovely to see her lovely face, as well as the lovely faces of so many of our dear customers from another lifetime 🦅 thanks to each of you, it feels wonderful to reconnect ❤️

Two nights of delicious.

This week Chef Kenny is hitting the pans extra hard and creating two days of deliciousness for you to dine in or takeaway straight from the heart of Fremantle (@36 Ellen Street).

WEDNESDAY WINTER SOUP from 4pm
Experience the warming delights of:
- Moroccan spiced broccoli soup (gf, vegan)
- Rich minestrone (gf, vegan)
Both served with sourdough bread, French butter

FRIDAY DINNER
From 5pm enjoy:
- Angus beef bangers and mash with green beans and garlic crushed royal blue potatoes, red wine jus (gf)
- Vegetarian spelt lasagne
- Winter roast beetroot and lentil salad
- Apple strudel, vaniilla icecream

With a special kids table of colouring in and board games to keep the littles occupied while you chow down in peace. Strictly no BYO as the bar will be open.

You’ve been reminding us that our communication about what we’re doing and where has been less than ideal, but in our defence we’d like to blame the school holidays and our children…the juggle is real!

Since late last year, we've been quietly working behind the scenes to bring joy in the form of food to so many events throughout Perth.

We've been fortunate to find a new home at the Fremantle Park Club, which is also home to the Fremantle Bowls and Lawn Tennis and Workers' Clubs. We've been giving a lot of thought to how we can continue to provide sustenance to all of our friends - new and old, and this is what we've come up with.

Winter Wednesday soup evenings - served from the bar at the Tennis and Bowls Clubs, and

Friday dinners served from the kitchen at the Workers Club.

Because we are in a shared space, there may be some weeks this will change, and we will let you know! Each week we put the menu online to pre-order (recommended for Fridays).

This Wednesday from 4pm:
- Potato and leek soup (gf, vegan)
- Pumpkin, coriander ginger and coconut (vegan, gf)
served with sourdough bread and French butter
- Strawberries and cream

This Friday from 5pm:
- Dhal style soup (gf, vegan)
- Butter chicken, pilau rice (gf)
- Cauliflower, spinach and chickpea curry with pilau rice (vegan, gf)
- Macadamia, sour cherry, chocolate brownies (gf)

Food this week.

Firstly we wanted to say thank you to those of you who came and dined last week - it was wild, it was busy and if we’re honest with ourselves - a little chaotic from our end. Apologies to those of you who waited longer than you had anticipated and thank you to all for your lovely feedback. We’re working on a proper process and really loving the Freo vibe that is emerging on a Friday.

We’ve got two nights of delicious fare starting with a soup night downstairs at the Fremantle Park Club tomorrow. Chef Kenny will be doling out steaming bowls of soup with crunchy sourdough rolls and butter between 5:30 and 7:30pm. Choose from:

🍲 Hearty minestrone with risoni pasta, legumes and veg
🍲 Roast pumpkin, ginger, coriander and coconut

Friday night’s dinner is on with a Celtic theme - this time dining in downstairs at the Park Club (or takeaway) with some really nourishing and hearty offerings:

🥘 Rustic winter vegetable soup, lentils (gf, vegan)
🥘 Beef and Guinness stew, mash potatoes (gf)
🥘 Traditional veg pastie, cauliflower cheese
🥘 Bread and butter pudding, vanilla ice cream

Fridays menu is live on the website, pop in tomorrow night for soup. We’ll be putting up Wednesday meals on the website from next week!
