I’m heading to Margaret River today for a weekend β€œunplugged” in the Karri forest 🧚✨🌳

I’ll be surrounded by creative women and dear friends for a belated birthday celebration, filled with arts and crafts, frolicking in nature, yoga, reading by the fire, tea and lots of good food πŸ§šπŸ°πŸ«–πŸ„πŸŽ¨πŸ“šπŸŒˆπŸ¦‹πŸŒΈπŸƒ

When I return, I hope to spend a week resting and re-setting at home before a big wedding season, which kicks off in late August πŸ™ŒπŸ‘

I will be sporadically monitoring my inbox for urgent or time sensitive enquiries, and you will still see a few posts rolling out on my socials - but you can expect to hear from me officially from the 10th πŸ’Œ

We had the opportunity in February to take a trip to the stunning Bunker Bay in our beautiful South West 🌊

Denise & Peter chose a gorgeous tangerine palette for their seasonal & locally grown blooms πŸƒπŸŠ

Their coastal ceremony featured our plinth designs, and the reception tables at ilma beach house were flowered with vase arrangements πŸ’

All foam-free as always! 🌏

Just taking a moment to highlight our NAIDOC installation from earlier this month for Mineral Resources head office space in Perth

Made with seasonal & locally grown native flora, this beauty stayed up for over a week and was moved to 2x different locations within their office space. It was the perfect natural centrepiece to evoke connection to country & help honour and celebrate the oldest living culture on Earth ✊🏿

Working with the unique and beautiful native flora on Whadjuk Noongar Country is such an honour and I’m grateful for the opportunity to showcase it in my designs πŸ’

Ash & Jon’s wildflower wedding at the Bush Chapel πŸŒ³πŸƒ

These two nature lovers are regularly exploring a bush hike, camping under the stars or nurturing their home native garden (which I love catching snippets of on their Instagram stories!) πŸ₯ΎπŸŒ±

When Ash told me that β€œVerticordia is her favourite genus of flower” I knew our signature wildflower designs were the perfect fit.

They ordered our β€œplayful & bright” elopement package in Bunuru (Jan/Feb) and picked it up from our home studio on the way to their South-West wedding πŸ’

The summer natives lasted perfectly in the days leading up to their ceremony and blended seamlessly into the natural setting of Eight Willows Retreat in the Jarrah & Marri forest πŸ’

Last week we had the honour of creating a native display for the Australian Indigenous Psychologist Association

Our design was nestled amongst a native gumnut garland and sand β€œearth circles” that represent the six Noongar Seasons here in Boorloo, and were designed on-site by two Aboriginal Elders πŸ’

It’s always such an honour to represent Country through stunning seasonal & locally grown flora, carefully selecting the vibrant species that bloom in Makuru πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ
