NEW Dream Journal Entry // Weightless Warmth: What Actually Makes a Doona Warm.
Your doona/duvet/quilt doesn’t make heat. You do.
Its only job is to hold on to the warmth your body produces overnight. The best insulator on earth for that is air. Not fabric, not filling, not weight.
That’s why a heavy doona is typically an indicator that the fill is inefficient and why a Puff doona feels almost suspiciously light in your hands. Then somehow becomes the warmest thing you own.
