A secret scent created for Marie Antoinette and stored in a black Jade flask. Just prior to her ex*****on, she entrusted the final flacon to her loyal confidante and governess, the Marquise de Tourzwl. That final bottle was handed down through the Marquises descendants and centuries later, the current head of Libin, Gilles Thevenin, discovered the surviving vial and has worked to resurrect the fragrance blending the original fresh, spicy, and woody notes to create the modern Black Jade.

Come and join us for an evening of indulgence at our Spring Workshop Event to be held on Tuesday 1st September 2026.

Guests will be given a brief history of perfume and an understanding of how to recognise and distinguish between the varying scents of the world’s finest perfume houses.

Each client will leave with the knowledge of how to best choose their perfect fragrances. The personal advice and service offered by our staff will be both enjoyable and invaluable.

The cost is just $40 per person, which is fully redeemable against any purchase over $200 made on the day of the workshop..

Supper and Champagne will be provided.
