Early start this morning at the Warmies boat ramp in Williamstown launching the boat for another day of Survey Vessel Hire work 🎣⚓️

One of the best parts about being around the water is the random people you meet along the way. Had a great chat with a lovely Vietnamese gentleman fishing off the end of the pier named Luke — absolute character and such a funny bloke 😂👌

And if you’re heading through Clyde, do yourself a favour and grab a pork roll from the bakery and ask for my brother Daniel Cini 🥖🔥

Days like this remind you it’s not always just about the fishing… it’s the people and stories along the way.

What a cracking day on the water today 🎣

Nice early bite this morning close to home with Jack and the crew hooking a proper good fish early on 💪🐟 always the best way to start the day.

We made a quick run back in to drop a client off, enjoyed some fish & chips on the boat, then headed back out for the evening session in absolutely glassed out conditions. Dead calm seas, heaps of visual action, fish everywhere… just no more hook ups unfortunately. That’s tuna fishing sometimes 😅

Couldn’t be happier for Jack and the boys though. Awesome crew, great attitude all day and they looked after their fish properly which is always good to see 👌

Estimated around the 70kg mark and an unreal memory made off Portland, Victoria.

It was awesome taking Jess, Ash and old salt Joey out to experience some Southern Bluefin Tuna fishing off Portland 🎣

I’ve honestly never seen anyone so excited to see dolphins, seals and the whole experience that comes with heading offshore doing what us fishermen do for a living every day.

Massive effort from Ash landing an absolute mega tuna 🍣💪 memories that will last a lifetime.

These are the moments that make fishing special — good people, good laughs and an adventure none of us will forget anytime soon.

Next trip we’ll slow things down a bit and get Jess and Ash into some peaceful Peninsula whiting and squid fishing 🦑🎣

What you DON’T want when you’re targeting barrels… a triple hook up 😅🎣

Absolute organised chaos onboard with multiple Southern Bluefin Tuna hooked up at once. Reels screaming, people running everywhere, rods crossing over and somehow trying to keep it all together while giant tuna are doing laps around the boat 💥🐟

These are the moments that make offshore fishing addictive and remind you how quickly things can turn into controlled madness chasing big bluefin.

Massive Southern Bluefin Tuna landed on the Bangers Teaser today 🎣💥The final moments of this fish were absolutely insane and exactly why I rate these teasers so highly. When the tuna are fired up, the Bangers Teaser has been getting the bites and creating chaos in the spread.

Jake jumped on board for a guided fishing trip in Westernport Bay and we covered it all — sounding and reading the fish finder, anchoring in current, bait presentation, and rigging up with both Reedy’s Rigs and conventional setups.

This one’s packed with technical info and GPS marks to help you fish smarter and more confidently.
We also had a laugh when we realised we forgot the heavy sinkers… and joked about using Yamaha pistons instead (Mercury guy here 😉)
Big thanks to Ee Sea for the fresh squid just before it became fertiliser — perfect timing! 🦑
