What a day.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at R&R Hobbies today for our D&D Encounters Season of Magic Celebration.

We had 30 people playing Dungeons & Dragons in the store today, and it was absolutely awesome to see the tables full of adventurers, dice, laughter, spellcasting, dramatic moments and wonderfully questionable decisions.

It was great to welcome new players to the table, and just as great to see familiar faces back for another adventure. Days like this are exactly why we love building the local D&D community.

A very special thank you to our Dungeon Masters: Matt, Ben, Nic, Brendan and John

Without your time, preparation, storytelling and patience, we simply could not run events like this. Thank you for guiding the adventures, keeping the tables moving and helping make the day so memorable for everyone involved.

To everyone who played, supported the event, brought great energy and helped bring the Season of Magic to life, thank you.

We look forward to many more adventures together.

⚔️ R&R Hobbies 40K Grow League — Month Three Complete! ⚔️

On Saturday we had our third sold out Warhammer 40,000 Grow League day, with armies stepping up to 1,000 points and moving onto full-size game tables.

It was great to see the league continue to grow, with players building on what they’ve learned over the last few months and starting to get a better feel for larger games, army synergies, detachments, keywords and battlefield positioning.

A huge congratulations to this month’s prize winners, who took home Mephiston to bolster his Blood Angels roster, and some Dirty Down Gore to help add a little extra blood and brutality to a World Eaters force.

Next month we grow again to 1,200 points.

The D&D Encounters Season of Magic Celebration is coming to R&R Hobbies, and the Red Wizards appear to be involved, which is usually a very good sign that absolutely nothing suspicious, dangerous or magically irresponsible will happen.

Probably.

Join us for a one shot Dungeons & Dragons adventure packed with magic, mayhem, questionable arcane decisions and the kind of table chaos that starts with “I have an idea” and ends with everyone reaching for dice.

New players are welcome.

Returning adventurers are welcome.

Experienced heroes, spellcasters and professional bad-decision makers are very welcome.
