Southern River Square was buzzing over the weekend as locals and families came down to celebrate the official grand opening of KFC Southern River!

City of Gosnells representatives, the Aigle Royal Group team and KFC staff joined in the celebrations, even stopping for a selfie with the iconic Colonel.

With fun giveaways and plenty of finger lickin’ good vibes, it was a great day for the community.

A big thank you to everyone who came down and welcomed KFC to Southern River Square!

We’re so sorry for the disappointment over the Easter weekend and we want to make it up to you!

Bring the whole family along this Saturday, 11th April, for a brand-new event packed with colour, creativity and non-stop fun! Kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy face painting, playful balloon twisting, and sparkle at the glitter bar.

Dance like nobody’s watching at the silent disco, strike a pose at the shimmer wall photobooth with a Polaroid to take home and get hands-on at the DIY slime bar workshop.

EASTER APOLOGY & UDPATE

We are truly sorry to all the families, tenants and visitors who came to the centre expecting some Easter fun and activities on Saturday.

We know many children arrived dressed in their bunny ears and were super excited to meet the Easter Bunny and we were deeply disappointed to be notified that this didn’t happen.

Unfortunately, due to a last minute unforeseen issue outside of our control, the event did not go ahead and a breakdown of communication meant we as Centre Management did not receive news of the issue.

To help make things right, we’ve organised a special Family Fun Day this Saturday from 11am - 1pm, packed with free activities and entertainment for the kids.

Whilst it won’t be Easter themed as the Easter Bunny has already made his rounds and we don’t want to confuse the children further, it will hopefully be fun filled and exciting for everyone who comes along.

We sincerely apologise for the disappointment caused and look forward to welcoming everyone this Saturday, 11 April 2026 for a fun filled morning of activities.
