☀️ SUMMER'S HERE — IS YOUR JETSKI READY? ☀️
Been sitting in storage since last season? Before you hit the water this summer, run through this quick checklist to avoid getting caught out on the ramp (or worse, out on the water):
✅ Battery — Check the charge and terminals for corrosion. A flat battery is the #1 reason skis won't start after winter.
✅ Fuel system — Old fuel left over the off-season can go stale and gum up the carbs/injectors. Drain if needed and refill with fresh fuel.
✅ Oil & filters — If it's been a few months, it's worth changing the oil before you put it under load again.
✅ Impeller & jet pump — Give it a visual check for wear, cracks, or debris. A damaged impeller kills performance fast.
✅ Hoses, belts & fittings — Rubber perishes over time, even sitting still. Check for cracking or leaks before launch.
✅ Spark plugs — Corroded or worn plugs make for a rough (or failed) start.
✅ Hull & trailer — Check for damage, and make sure trailer tyres, lights, and bearings are road-ready.
