Beyond ecstatic! The judges from awarded me with the excellence in machine machine award(open, moveable machine). In my field as a machine quilter this is a big award to win. The joint entry with was awarded a 3rd place in the collaborative 2 person category. Thank you Chris for your trust. Also big congratulations to on receiving a judge’s commendation for her entry (quilted by me).
Anyone who knows me will understand how much this means, especially after the emotional roller coaster of the last 3 weeks, including the last minute trip to Germany. And yes, jet lag is real!

This year seems to be on a fast forward! On Friday I had the pleasure of visiting the Blue Mountains Quilt Show. So lovely to be amongst people, quilts and shops. Delighted to see some of ‘my’ quilts displayed. The black background quilt is probably one of the most challenging I’ve ever quilted, it has a lot of 3 dimensional elements in it! Wendy’s beautiful City sampler, Karens bright Anna Maria Horner quilt and 2 of Liane’s, made in class at and Ruth’s own design ‘City Windows’. Hoping for many more shows this year 😍
