💛 We've been a little quiet lately...

If you've noticed we haven't been posting as much recently, we wanted to say thank you for sticking with us.

Life has been wonderfully busy as we've been helping prepare for our daughter's wedding, and many of our days have been spent creating beautiful handmade pieces just like these rustic hay bale runners.

The best part? Almost everything you see here was made using supplies from right here in the shop. From beautiful lace and trims to fabrics and all those little finishing touches, it's a lovely reminder that with a little creativity, you can make something truly special.

That's what Vintage Roads is all about. We love inspiring people to create, whether it's for a wedding, a special occasion, or simply because making something with your own hands brings joy.

Wedding crafting has begun 🤍

We’ve been busy creating these sweet little wedding decorations for my daughter’s special day, using craft items that are available right here in store.

A simple glass jar, lace, pearls, ribbon flowers and a candle, and suddenly it becomes something soft, romantic and personal. It’s amazing what a few beautiful trims and a little imagination can turn into.

We have lace, ribbons, pearls, embellishments and plenty of crafty treasures in store for anyone wanting to create their own wedding decorations, table centrepieces, keepsakes or handmade gifts.

There’s something extra special about handmade touches on a special day. 🤍

Vintage Blue Enamel Bread / Cake Bin
Believed to be German enamelware, this round lidded kitchen tin has a hinged clasp, carry handle, white enamel interior and small vent holes for storing baked goods. Beautiful bright blue exterior with age wear and rust staining inside. A charming piece of vintage kitchenalia, perfect for display.

New old wares have found their way into Vintage Roads.

We’ve had a few lovely rustic pieces arrive in store, including woven baskets and a gorgeous old galvanised piece with plenty of farmhouse character. Perfect for display, storage, styling, or simply adding a little bit of old-world charm to the home.

There’s something special about pieces that have already lived a life. They bring texture, warmth, and a story all of their own.
