So why not take the scenic road, breathe in some fresh country air, explore our beautiful bushland and stop by the trailer on your way through? 🌿

🌿🌸 A Gentle Reminder from Blooms in the Bush

If you’ve taken something from the Roadside Flower Trailer and accidentally missed payment, please don’t worry — simply make the payment when you can. Genuine mistakes happen, and I completely understand. 💗

The trailer is monitored by security cameras, and unfortunately there have been a number of occasions where flowers and ceramic pots have been taken without payment.

Blooms in the Bush is a small local business, and every unpaid item has an impact — including on the other local suppliers and small businesses I support.

I’d love to keep the flowers blooming on the roadside, so please:

Take what you pay for, and pay for what you take. 🌸

A Gentle Reminder from Blooms in the Bush 🌿🌸

I’m putting this post up as a friendly reminder, rather than to accuse or single out anyone.

Today, a beautiful ceramic tropical pot was taken from the Roadside Flower Trailer by a lady in a small red car. At this stage, I’m simply asking that if you have taken the pot and payment has accidentally been missed, please make payment when you can. I completely understand that sometimes people may forget, have trouble with PayID reception, or intend to come back and pay.

However, I also want to remind everyone that the Roadside Flower Trailer is monitored by working security cameras. I have invested a significant amount into having these cameras installed, and they provide clear footage of customers at the trailer. I can see who is purchasing, and I can also see when someone takes something without making payment.

I haven’t spoken publicly about this very much because I have always wanted to trust that people will simply do the right thing. Unfortunately, there have been a number of occasions where flowers and ceramic pots have been taken without payment, and it is becoming increasingly disappointing.

Blooms in the Bush is a registered small business, and this is my livelihood. I work incredibly hard to grow, source and arrange beautiful seasonal flowers for the community. I also purchase flowers and products from other local suppliers and small businesses, so every unpaid item has a direct impact on not only my business, but on the local businesses I support as well.

I want to be able to continue offering beautiful flowers from the Roadside Flower Trailer, but this can only happen when people support the business by making payment.

If you have taken something and forgotten to pay, please don’t be embarrassed — simply make the payment. I’m very understanding of genuine mistakes. 💗

And to all of the wonderful locals, regular customers, passers-by and visitors who continue to support my little business, pay honestly, leave beautiful messages and spread the word — thank you. Your support means more than you know and is what makes it possible for me to keep doing what I love. 🌸🌿

So, just a gentle reminder:

Please take what you pay for, and pay for what you take.

If you’re looking for a little country escape this weekend, jump in the car and head out through the beautiful Brisbane Ranges. 🚗🌿 The scenic country roads, fresh air and winter bushland make for a gorgeous drive.

🌿 Anakie Gorge is just 300 metres away — take a beautiful bush walk, spot some local wildlife, explore the bushland and pack a picnic to enjoy along the way. 🦘🌳

And afterwards, why not stop by Blooms in the Bush and take home a bunch or two — a little piece of the bush to brighten your home. 💐🌿

🌿✨ A LITTLE VISITOR IN THE GUM TREES ✨🌿

A little bit of magic on the farm tonight… 🥰

While out checking the flowers this evening, we spotted one of our little sugar gliders tucked away in the Gum Trees. 🌙🌿

Moments like this are a beautiful reminder that growing flowers is about so much more than the blooms we pick.

Our trees, native foliage and flowering plants provide food, shelter and habitat for all sorts of little Aussie locals — from bees and butterflies to birds, possums, lizards and these beautiful little sugar gliders. 🐝🦋🐦🌿

As we’ve grown Blooms in the Bush, creating a sustainable, chemical-free flower farm has always been about working with the land and giving back to it too.

We love knowing that amongst the flowers, gum trees and bushland, we’re creating little pockets of habitat where our native wildlife can feed, hide, nest and call home. 🤎

Fresh flowers for you… and a safe little haven for them. 🌿🐾

That’s country life, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🌾
