Just to let everyone know my workshop burned down so there is nothing left of wood stock, tools students unfinished builds, all my most precious posessions, instruments and lots of personal effects, my stepfather david rose’s artworks, everything. Its my intention to set up again so anyone who wants to continue their project i can offer free lessons to get back to where you were when I reopen, building a shed first, might take a while though.

Three identical guitars with all the spectrum peaks the same places but three different q factors built into the timber on the top being the only difference of note, apparently not many people can pick the difference. This played by a master, a high quality recording worthy of your hifi speakers and a guitar made by a true scientist, in the proper sense of the word, what a great experiment to find yourself in the middle of for a few minutes.

I saw the Clusone Trio many years ago in The Basement jazz club because the ad in the paper said "It was like seeing a trio of virtuoso musicians that had been hit with a ray gun that turned them into 7 year olds." It was, I was on the edge of my seat, one of the most fun and amazing gigs I ever saw, he was sight reading from a blank page in the first song half way through he turned the page the other way up and kept playing, this was a track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYQGL-UoAnc from the album they made of one of the live gigs at the time which he signed for me, a wide eyed 20 year old. Good to see he can still completely captivate anyone with his playing, except maybe the grand kids.

I once made an octave mandolin with a 000 guitar body also known as an Irish bazouki and am looking forward to having another one one day, it sounded amazing and was a lot of fun to play. This is an archtop which has a whole other quality, I hope one day to make it sing half as nicely as this lass.
