Two more Chromatics ready for collection. Repaired the 270’s cracked comb and added a timber veneer to the outside to help strengthen it, replaced the mouthpiece, screws and bumpers, broken reed and retuned. The 280 needed a retune and clean.

Here are three for Tim Sheehan, a 364 with one of my custom timber combs, a 270 that needed a retune and clean and a 280 with a missing windsaver or two and sticking slide.

Full custom Hohner Marine band in C now in the hands of Tim Sheehan a fantastic Adelaide blues player. Tim has a comprehensive set of harps that I have built for him.
Chamfered reeds, embossed reed plates, straightened and flat sanded to mate perfectly with my stabilised and fully sealed custom CNC machined Australian hardwood comb.

Just finished a Hohner 270 Chromonica. New comb, sealed. converted reed plates to screws from nails, added brass tube to the comb for the screws to go through. Flat sanded the top of the comb and reed plates together for a more airtight seal, Deluxe round hole mouth piece and new slider assembly. Heading back to Queensland, Australia.
