This weekend - July 25th & 26th SteamRanger will be celebrating Christmas in July with a full complement of passengers visiting Strathalbyn for festive meals at the Victoria Hotel.
Before we know it, we will all be planning for Christmas in December with the 'Christmas Where the Angas Flows' pageant, entertainment, concert and fireworks.
You can help us with the fundraising and possibly win an early Christmas present by buying tickets in the People First Community Lottery.

Just a reminder that The Book Keeper is closed weekdays until August 7th while I take some time away to look after myself!

🚂 It’s always a pleasure to see SteamRanger puff into town with its excited passengers on board! I love watching it come in from the front window of the shop. Looking forward to next weekend’s “Christmas in July” trains! 🚂🎄

Amongst the chaos of yesterday’s pile of boxes, these Colin Thiele titles emerged, including a first edition *signed* copy of ‘The shadow on the hills’!

While I know he did sign many of his books, it’s still a little thrilling to see a signature. See the comments for a pic!
