💔 **THIS IS THE REALITY OF RUNNING A SMALL BUSINESS!** 💔
As small business owners, we do it tough EVERY SINGLE DAY! And situations like this make it even harder.
Every year, we do our best to give back and support our local community. Our store is filled with hardworking small business owners who pour their own money, countless hours, passion and sometimes even tears into creating their products, all in the hope of making a living and supporting their families.
To have people walk into our store and blatantly STEAL from these hardworking vendors is absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating!
But what disgusts and disappoints me even more is seeing adults allegedly stealing while their CHILDREN are right there watching.
**And watch the end of the footage!** It even appears that the adults may be encouraging the children to take items!
What kind of example are we setting for the next generation? What happened to teaching our children honesty, respect and that you WORK for the things you want?
The children are wearing uniforms that appear to be from Lawnton State School. We will also be contacting the school privately to raise our concerns.
**We are not a big corporation. We are REAL PEOPLE, REAL FAMILIES and REAL SMALL BUSINESSES trying to survive!**
Every stolen item represents someone's hard work, time and money. Money that could have gone towards groceries, bills or supporting their family.
We work incredibly hard to create a welcoming space for our community, and this is the thanks we get.
💔 **PLEASE SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES, DON'T STEAL FROM THEM!**
And most importantly, teach your children to respect other people's hard work.
