Well, my time here is coming to an end, one chapter closes and another one opens.
I am working on the new shop as fast as time will allow and I do hope I will be open for business by September.
I would like to thank all who have walked through my door, and I hope you will come to see me in my new location

Here goes the hard work, I need to drain the water away from the building, all it takes is time and sweat. This is the 20 foot run, I have a 30 foot to do too. Got something for pain?

Silver Kennedy half dollars for sale. These are dated 1965 thru 1969 and 40% silver. This is an inexpensive way to get into saving some metal. Silver is security, you are in control, if you hit a rough patch you have something to sell. These are 5 bucks each or a roll is 95.00

I like rare things and this is about as rare as it gets. This is a vacuum, nature abhors it and so do I. This is a scene that will not be looked upon for many years, I thought I would take the opportunity
to preserve the image.
This is the inside of the new shop which will be finished asap. It will not be long before I will be saying, "where can I put this?"

And here it is, not as big as I would like but I will make do with what I have. My metal mushroom was up in 3 days, all I have to do now is finish the inside which will not go as fast as the outside. Follow along to see the progress.

I first heard it yesterday morning when I started the car, it was a bad sound coming from inside the engine, I call it a death rattle. With over 300k miles on my Toyota it did not surprise me.
Being the brave or stupid soul that I am I drove it 25 miles to Martinsville. It got me there Ok but the ride home was something else.
The noise got louder, the engine started to lose power and then the squealing started, I knew it would not last for long. I crossed my fingers and hoped it would make the 20 some miles back to the shop. Well it didn't make it.
I was lucky that it quit near a place I could pull off the road.
I saw a man getting in his car and asked to use his phone. The phone system as it is these days would not get my call through, please leave a message. So going back to my roots I stuck out my thumb and hitch hiked. Once hitched from Chicago to Yellowstone park but that's a story for another time.
A man in a pickup stopped and gave me a lift, not as far as I needed but all is helpful. Got another ride from a fellow name of Kenny and he took me right to my door. Offered him a 20 for his gas but he declined. So glad there are still some fine people in the world.
So... anybody got a car for sale?

Some things you never think about, they just are but when you take the time to think you just might say wait a minute, I never knew that.
If you live in the country, you must know all about ticks. yes, the little buggers will just wait till you or your pet walk by so they can latch on and suck blood.
So, think about this, is a tick an insect or a spider? If you guessed spider, you are correct as the little buggers have 8 legs.
So now you can add another piece of knowledge to your useless info collection

In the beginning. This is the future site of Ole Joes Trading Company. I will keep you up to date on the progress.

You may have heard the old adage the only things for sure in this life are death and taxes, well I would like to add to the list. Change. Things rarely stay the same for long.
Well change has come to old Joe's trading company. I was given notice that my lease will not be renewed, and I must be moving on. It's all my fault, I brought in a lawnmower, and it dripped a bit of oil on the carpet, at least that is the reason my landlord gave me. No matter, its his building and he can do as he pleases.
So... I am having a building erected and will be moving in as soon as I can.
Do note that June 30th will be my last day at this location, if we have any unfinished business, we need to wrap it up by 6-30-25.
I will be posting pics of the new buildings progress and hope to be open in July, but you know how it goes. Buildings always cost more than planned and they take longer to build too.

Silver eagles, such a pretty coin. The mint has been making these since 1986. I can recall buying them for 6 bucks each back in the day, they have made a good investment, and I do think they will continue to do well in the future.
I have most all dates in stock. The price? I set the price on the day they are sold as the price of silver changes daily.
I also have silver rounds, Morgan and Peace dollars too.
I take cash, card or a good trade.
