🌺🇦🇺 Mount Egerton Memorial Park – Remembrance Day Service 🇦🇺🌺
On behalf of the Mount Egerton Memorial Park Committee, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who made our very first Remembrance Day Service such a special and moving occasion.
A heartfelt thank you to Mount Egerton Primary School Gordon Primary School, and St. Patrick's Primary School, Gordon — the children were absolutely wonderful, delivering thoughtful talks and creating beautiful handmade poppies for their soldiers.
Our sincere gratitude also goes to Mr Bert Jarvis of the Ballan RSL, the families of our fallen soldiers, and all community members who joined us on this historic day.
Special thanks to the Buninyong Men’s Shed for crafting the soldiers’ crosses, Kim from Sunbury Trophy Centre for the engraved nameplates, and to Fiona, Marie, and our many community members for your handcrafted poppies. And of course, to our own committee members, thank you for your dedication and teamwork in bringing this vision to life.
As you’ll see from the photos, it was a beautiful and heartfelt service — everything we had hoped for in honouring our 54 fallen soldiers.
